Reviews in 50 Words Or Less: The Dark Knight

This is my favorite Batman movie. I enjoy thought provocation, and this movie delivers. I could ponder on its complex ethical and existential themes for a pleasantly long time. Heath Ledger deserves a lot of praise for his turn as the Joker. And remember, Superman sucks.

I totally agree!!!! Scott and I went to go see it about 2 weeks ago, our jaws were dropped the entire movie!!!!! It is hands down the best “Batman” to date and I can’t imagine a better actor to play the Joker other than Heath Ledger!!!!!!!

I wouldn’t have thought Ledger would be a good Joker, but he convinced me. I typecast him as the sincere youth like in The Patriot and A Knight’s Tale. (I haven’t seen Brokeback Mountain yet.) That’s not exactly compatible with the persona of Joker the sociopathic serial killer. But I loved it.
