Why have I never heard of John Prine? His song, Sam Stone, breaks my heart.

There’s also a Johnny Cash cover.

    Ah, the memories!

    I used to listen to John Prine back in my BYU daze — my BYU-era boyfriend, Steve was a fan, and would play me his tapes.
