People are often helpful for cute little robots and children. But if you put a scruffy looking adult in the park and had him/her ask for help I wonder how many of those same people would have offered help.

I imagine fewer would help, but people like to be helpful. That’s why it’s so easy for people to get into gated communities or social engineer passwords out of phone support.
